Buy Summer Knight (The Dresden Files, Book 4)
Private detective/wizard-for-hire Harry Dresden is suckered into tangling in the affairs of Faerie, where the fate of the entire world-and his soul-are at stake.
Yes, this is all that was offered as a description. Effective.
What I thought:
Ah, I just can't get enough of Harry. While he may act like a bumbling idiot quite a bit, he still has a good heart and just wants to do the right thing, even if everyone else doesn't want him to.
Harry is always in trouble, this time with the Council. If the vote doesn't work in his favor, he's dead. While this was an interesting plot, by the time we found out the who dun it stuff, I had forgotten all about this! Not sure if that is a good or bad thing, but it was definitely a 'How could I forget' moment.
Mr Butcher is really a great writer. He uses wit and sarcasm flawlessly that keeps me laughing while able to write the serious scenes that keep me trying not to cry. This book is definitely worth the read!
I gave it 4 stars!
