When Chloe Zanders, student of antiquities, is drawn into his world, she finds the insatiable alpha male an irresistible lure. Before long, she is caught up in an ancient prophecy that will sweep her back into time to medieval Scotland. Plunged into a world of timeless magic and dark seduction, she will soon face the challenge of a lifetime: fighting thirteen evil spirits for the heart of one irresistible man....

What I thought:

This was an enjoyable read, not my favorite in the series, but a good read. While I am enjoying the series, it is starting to get a bit predictable (although, that isn't really a bad thing) and I already know what is happening before it happens. It has some great steamy scenes, which I read it for, that keep me entertained and a good plot that I wanted to see through to the end.

While I liked the characters, I'm still waiting for a different kind of heroine. They are all starting to blend together with roughly the same personalities. All so far have been strong characters that have lent their strength and will to their men. I would like to see the roles reversed, where both characters aren't so strong all of the time. While the characters had vulnerabilities at moments, it wasn't enough. I like strong characters, but they all can't be strong all of the time.

I gave it 3 stars!
