Just letting you know that the book itself has probably been edited and fixed up, since I'm reading a galley of the book. Even so, you can tell this author has a MAD vocabulary...or a nice dictionary at arms length, unlike some YA authors (and that's okay, because YA doesn't need to be sophisticated)
