Bianca will risk everything to be with Lucas.

After escaping from Evernight Academy, the vampire boarding school where they met, Bianca and Lucas take refuge with Black Cross, a fanatical group of vampire hunters. Bianca must hide her supernatural heritage or risk certain death at their hands. But when Black Cross captures her friend—the vampire Balthazar—hiding is no longer an option.

Soon, Bianca and Lucas are on the run again, pursued not only by Black Cross, but by the powerful leaders of Evernight. Yet no matter how far they travel, Bianca can't escape her destiny.

Bianca has always believed their love could survive anything . . . but can it survive what's to come?

What I thought:

I have mixed feelings about this series so far. It's alright, nothing overly fantastic and amazing that blows everything out of the water, but it is a good light read. At first I didn't like where it was going, I know urban fantasies, like this novel, usually don't have happy endings, but I'm not a fan of overly sad endings where there it is likely that the couple may never be together.

I'm still interested in the storyline with Charity, and I wonder where that will go with Balthazar still looking for her. I'm also looking forward to the story of the wraiths and the vampires. Although I liked this series so far, I doubt this will be a series I revisit.

I gave it 4 stars!
